Welcome to *av Skandikatt s website   Norwegian Forest Cats - our passion. This wonderful race convinced us of the type absolutely. Our little hobby-cattery is located in Oldenburg, were we live in a one-family-house with garden. Our little family are, Enno and Tina Jesse, our daughter Emma (Birth in April 2008) and our son Luke (Birth in May 2010). And of course our cats...   About the cats *av Skandikatt* At the moment we have four Norwegian Forest cats, they are: *Bluebella av Storkatt* / *Emil of Shorty Cats our first Breeding female cat from Juli 2006, a very elegant, spacious and sporty, pretty lady Our second Breeding male cat from May 2008, a lovely big cream boy, with a fantastic character ****** Emil is now since febuary 2011 neutered, so now the Seach for new good breeding male has been started ******   In sweet memory my two *cats at heart* Aprilia Fluesnapper av Skandikatt / DK*NaZyias Eigil Fluesnapper our second Breeding female a A-Litter from April 2008. She was the biggest female cat in the house and the only daughter from our first Breeding male DK* NaZyias Eigil Fluesnapper. Eigil died very suddenly in febuary 2009. He had a bacterial infection of the mammary glands which despite all efforts of our vets, caused a major necrosis and so we had to take the heartbreaking decision to letgo our sweet *Puddie*. We also lost Aprilia, in Spring 2010. She had an accident at home at a another cattery. She died in a tilt window, i still do not understand how this could happen. Why did they not take care of my Aprilia?.. unbelievable to me !! We are still in total shock and i am so sad and angry too, i have lost my two *cats at heart* Now she is back at home and is buried next to her father (Eigil Fluesnapper). *Bijona av Skandikatt* / *Lykke av Storkatt* Bijona is one of our B litter from May 2009. A strong big girl with perfect earsettings (a bit to small) -but she has a absolutely straight profil, with a perfect look. We are very strained on her further development. Lykke is our new Breeding female from May 2010 she is a lovely and very pretty black-tabby-blotched little lady. She is our little dreamgirl and *Lykke* means in Norway *Lucky*.   DK*Klan Elliott«s Edgar Allan Poe Edgar is our new breeding male and he comes from Denmark. My big Thanks go to Jeanette for this lovely boy.   ***** Health and wellbeing of our cats and kittens are very important to us, this is why all our cats are validly vaccinated against Feline Infectious Enteritis, Respiratory Viral Disease, Rabies and Felina Leukemia. And all our breeding cats have been tested (or will be tested when they are old enough) HCM negative (normal). Our breeding cats (or the parets) have also been tested normal for GSD IV. *****   Kittens are expected !!

Our kittens are growing up as a part of the family and are in hands from the beginning.
Kittens will also be used to other cats, small children and baby.
They will grow up on quality dry food with canned food and raw meat as supplement.

Kittens will not be sold to homes where there are no other cats.
A cat enjoys the company of another cat. Two cats can sleep together, play together and as it's said, it takes another cat to wash a cat behind the ear.
The owner of two cat will could observe much more fun and joyful cat-behavior too.
We therefore give discount on two kittens bought together.

Our kittens are always standing under veterinary control. Loving breeding is a guarantee for an impeccable and lovable character !!!

We would be grateful if new owners kept in contact with us occasionally to let us know how our offspring is progressing! Photos are very much appreciated. We will always be available for help and advice when the kitten is in his/her new home.
